Dotcom Rebranding Project
The company was already well established, but needed a fresh look, feel and a message. By gathering information, researching and with help from her team, Nadia created a fully-functioning brand that could stand proudly amongst the other tech businesses in South Africa.

Then it was time for the big one - the logo.
Nadia has gone through various iterations of the original since her appointment, but the final version was reached in 2020 and was introduced to the world in 2021.
The brand was approached from the ground up - starting with it's history.
Team members were interviewed, from which the perspective and the brand's relationships to both external and internal entities were established.
The main focus was on simplification. This was achieved through incorporating the "dot" more elegantly into the name and using a more rounded, modern font.
The colour was also refreshed to something a bit softer and more relevant to the time. The logo has been treated to have various forms for various uses.
Just as the control of use of the logo is critical, so are the fonts and their use. The primary font of Dotcom is Gilroy, which is a modern sans serif with a geometric touch. As a secondary font, Playfair Display was selected to add a bit of drama and playfulness, when relevant.
